POSITION DESCRIPTION : To plan mould production , manage the man power and maintain quality of mould , core and pattern.. Responsible for meeting the daily production target.. MAJOR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY : To plan the daily heat / mould production as per the requirement. To allocate man power as per the requirement. To supervise the activity of the operators and maintain peak production. To maintain discipline in the department. To inform the superiors regarding any indiscipline among the operators.. To maintain quality of moulds and cores. To reject poor quality moulds , cores and chills. To maintain the quality of patterns by proper storing and maintenance to ensure trouble free production. Ensure proper storage of Moulds, Cores , Pattern , Core Box and Chills. To maintain all quality and production records. To maintain attendance records. To inspect raw materials and consumables related to moulding and sign in the GRV. To bring to the attention of the superiors regarding poor quality raw material and consumable. To ensure daily preventive maintenance of all equipments including Continuous mixers, etc. To inform superiors regarding possible break down of equipment to prevent any major break down.. Attend meetings as planned and share all relevant information . To maintain and follow ISO documents and procedures. Any other responsibility as given by the superior officer. PRIMARY OBJECTIVE To plan and maintain mould production to reach daily targets. To maintain quality in all activities. Manage man power.
