Sound and Music Designer

Role and Responsibilities

• Create (source, license, produce, blend) captivating and addictive sound effects (SFX) and music tracks for mobile games.
• Work within strict file size limitations, ensuring music and SFX remain lean for rapid downloads and low memory consumption (using

  .OGG file format

  ).
• Collaborate with the Product Manager and Creative team to deliver music, soundtracks, and SFX while proactively suggesting new ideas.
• Play and analyze competitor mobile games to inspire original, high-quality music for in-house projects.
• Work closely with music editors and game programmers to sync audio seamlessly with game technology.
• Stay updated on the latest advances in mobile-friendly audio technology, standards, and practices for Android and iOS.
• Maintain a high level of quality with continuous improvement for every release.
• Organize and manage all audio files and assets, optimizing them for mobile platforms (compression without quality loss).
• Maintain a structured audio library for reusable assets across different games/projects.
• Conduct audio testing across multiple mobile devices, identifying and resolving audio bugs and issues.
