Roles and Responsibilities Identify the target customers as per the target given by the management/BDM, reach out to target business segments/customers and convince them to place insurance business through the Sorigin Insurance broking company. Manage and maintain a healthy and cordial relationship with Insurance companies and clients. Present Insurance relevant insurance plan and pitches to customers. Identifying new insurance clients in Renewable, corporate, logistics, warehousing and transportation segment. To build Sales Funnel for the Business from above segments to achieve targets, growth and profitability. Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients for repeat business and referrals. Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration. Skills and Requirements: Candidate should have 4-14 years of business development or business process experience in the General Insurance/financial sector. Experience of Insurance of commercial line business, warehousing & logistics, transportation would be given preference. Candidate should have interest and inclination to learn the product profile and skill sets needed to and desirable for Insurance product sales and services. Should have the interest and passion to develop the capability of managing the transactions of sales and business development independently. Quickly learn and develop the knowledge and dynamics of the General Insurance products and services for Renewable Energy, Corporate and retail segments. Must be a team player and dedicated, disciplined. IT Skills and Requirements: MS Office, excel and power point. CRM Software D. Qualification: Graduate in any field or MBA in Marketing Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Insurance qualification of fellowship, associates from Insurance Institute of India or any other equivalent qualification Strong understanding of general insurance products and market dynamics
AIF - Lead Business Development & Head Compliance - Mumbai - 5-7 years Lead Business Development- • Effectively connecting and collaborating with industry professionals to grow Sorigin AIF network and assisting in establishing new relationships for sourcing opportunities. • Leading campaign and outreach activities to build relationships with potential target companies. • Working with the Sorigin team to develop a pipeline of companies that meets fund's investment criteria. • Assisting with mapping out the market, and identifying and initiating new investment opportunities • Structure, negotiate and close deals timely and effectively with potential targets • Maintain data integrity within systems used by the business development team Head Compliance - Mumbai - 5-7 years • Ensuring compliance of all aspects related to the AIF and Investee Cos. including but not limited to SEBI, Direct and Indirect Tax, RBI, FEMA, FDI etc. • Ensuring PPM is updated at all times and requisite approvals / filings with regulator as required • Overseeing Fund and Management Accounting • Managing Internal and External Audits including statutory, tax, cyber audits etc • Stakeholder / Vendor relationship management (e.g. SEBI, Merchant bankers, trustees, custodian, RTA, legal etc.) including appointment, renewals, payments etc • Website development and Updates
