Solution Architect Data Cloud & Application Development

Location: Any Mastek Location. Preferably Chennai

Experience: 10+ years

About the Role:

We are seeking a Solution Architect with strong expertise in Data Cloud platforms and Application Development. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in Snowflake, Databricks, and modern application architecture. The ideal candidate will excel at designing scalable, cost-optimized solutions, leading customer conversations, and driving the cost reduction and optimization of workloads.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

Architect and design end-to-end cloud data and application solutions using
Snowflake
and
Databricks
.
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and Databricks platform features, performance tuning.
Drive cost optimization strategies for compute, storage, and data processing workloads.
Familiarity or hands-on experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Data Science frameworks.
Collaborate with development, data science, DevOps, and product teams to ensure alignment with architecture and business goals.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and application development.
Support the pre-sales process with technical leadership, including PoCs, proposals, and solution workshops.
Good understanding of DevOps/containerization
Lead discussions with customers and internal stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into scalable technical architecture.
Strong consultative mindset with product centric approach
Develop and present high-impact solution presentations and technical documentation to both technical and business audiences.
