About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect - Microsoft Fabric to join our growing Microsoft (COE)team.
In this role, you will architect, design, and lead end-to-end data platform implementations leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, and Power BI, helping global enterprises modernize their data and analytics landscape.
This is a high-impact position where you ll collaborate with clients, engineering teams, and Microsoft to define cloud-native architectures, establish best practices, and accelerate Fabric adoption across industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design enterprise-grade data platform solutions using Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Real-Time Intelligence, and Data Pipelines) and Azure Data Services.
- Lead end-to-end solution design across the Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold), integrating diverse data sources (D365, SAP, APIs, Dataverse, etc.).
- Collaborate with Fabric Tech Leads and Engineers to design metadata-driven ingestion frameworks, orchestration pipelines, and governance models.
- Partner with clients and Microsoft product teams to deliver Proofs of Concept (PoCs), accelerators, and solution blueprints.
- Define architecture principles, naming conventions, data governance, and security frameworks using Microsoft Purview and OneLake RBAC.
- Work with Power BI teams to enable semantic models, Direct Lake mode, and Fabric CI/CD practices.
- Conduct architecture reviews, performance assessments, and cost-optimization analysis for Fabric and Azure workloads.
- Stay current with Microsoft Fabric feature releases, Fabric Copilot, Real-Time Intelligence, and Azure data in ations and guide customers on their adoption roadmap.
Ideal Candi Profile
- 10+ years of experience in Data Platform, Business Intelligence, or Cloud Architecture.
- 3+ years of deep, hands-on experience with Azure Data Platform (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, SQL, or Data Lake).
- Proven expertise in the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem Lakehouses, Warehouses, Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and Power BI.
- Strong experience in data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, orchestration, and metadata-driven pipeline design.
- Practical understanding of security, governance, and compliance using Purview, Key Vault, and Managed Identities.
- Experience integrating heterogeneous data sources such as SAP, D365, REST APIs, SQL, and NoSQL systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills able to translate business needs into scalable architecture.
- Microsoft Certifications preferred:
- DP-600 / DP-700 / DP-203
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
- Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) - bonus
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on exposure to Fabric Real-Time Intelligence (RTI) and Eventhouses.
- Experience implementing OneLake Security, Purview Scans, and Fabric Admin best practices.
- Familiarity with DataOps / CI-CD frameworks for Fabric pipelines and semantic models.
- Understanding of AI integration with Fabric (Copilot Studio, Synapse ML, Azure OpenAI).
- Exposure to multi-tenant enterprise environments with complex data governance needs.
