Solution Architect

Job Overview:

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of modern, scalable, and cost-effective solutions across complex enterprise environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust technology strategies using a blend of modern cloud technologies and legacy platforms. This role is ideal for an architect with strong technical depth, business acumen, and a proven track record in driving digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design & Architecture:

Define and architect end-to-end solutions using a wide technology stack including C, C++, Cloud, Embedded etc. ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

• Digital Transformation Enablement:

Align architectural designs with the organizations digital transformation goals and business capabilities, ensuring solutions drive measurable value and operational efficiency.

• Enterprise Architecture Alignment:

Contribute to and align with Enterprise Architecture standards and practices. Create and maintain architectural diagrams, solution blueprints, and technology roadmaps.

• Hands-on Prototyping & Validation:

Build proofs of concept (POCs), scripts, and prototypes to validate architectural decisions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge through hands-on technical work.

• Client Engagement & Pre-Sales:

Support pre-sales activities including client presentations, solution proposals, technical estimations, and architectural assessments. Act as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and external clients.

• Architecture Governance & Best Practices:

Define architecture standards and lead governance initiatives across projects. Ensure consistent use of reusable patterns and reference architectures.

• Documentation & Thought Leadership:

Author solution architecture documents, whitepapers, decision logs, and other artifacts. Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and technology best practices.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with engineering, DevOps, product, and business teams to ensure architecture is aligned with implementation and delivery capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 15-25 Years of professional experience. 5+ years in solution architecture roles
• Proficiency with multi-language environments, including C++, C programming etc.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud
• Proven track record delivering 5+ production-grade architectures
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
