Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong Azure Cloud background to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing cloud-based solutions that meet business and technical requirements. This role requires deep expertise in Azure services, solution design, and enterprise architecture best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Architecture

oLead the design and development of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure.

oDefine architecture blueprints, reference architectures, and design patterns aligned with organizational strategy.

oCollaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Cloud Strategy & Governance

oprovide thought leadership on cloud adoption, migration, and modernization strategies.

oEstablish cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks in line with industry standards.

oOptimise Azure infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

• Technical Leadership

oGuide development and DevOps teams in implementing cloud-native and hybrid solutions.

oConduct design reviews, risk assessments, and architecture validation.

oMentor engineers and foster best practices in cloud architecture and deployment.

• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

oWork closely with clients, product managers, and technical teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

oAct as a trusted advisor on Azure capabilities, integrations, and solution feasibility.

oPrepare and present architecture proposals, diagrams, and technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6+ years of IT experience with at least 4+ years in cloud solution architecture.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services including but not limited to:

oAzure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

oAzure Active Directory, Identity & Access Management

oAzure Storage, Cosmos DB, SQL Database

oAzure Networking (VNets, VPN, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, Firewall)

oAzure Security Center, Key Vault, and Compliance tools

• Experience in cloud migration, modernization, and hybrid solutions.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, APIs, DevOps (CI/CD), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/ARM/Bicep).
• Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and multi-cloud/hybrid cloud environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Experience in TOGAF or other enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to AI/ML, Data Analytics, and IoT on Azure.
