Job Title: Team Lead – CAMO Department: Engineering Location: Mumbai, India Job Purpose The Team Lead – CAMO is accountable for the definition, development, implementation, and control of procedures and practices within the Engineering Department, in accordance with SolitAir’s Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME). This role ensures the safe and effective maintenance operations of all SolitAir aircraft, in compliance with internal policies, Civil Aviation Regulations, and other relevant authorities. Key Responsibilities Perform the duties of a Technical Service Engineer and lead a team comprising Technical Service Engineers, Planners, and Records Officers. Develop, amend, and control the distribution of application procedures and manuals; ensure compliance across the Engineering team. Assist the Supervisor – Fleet Management in cost management and budget control for maintenance operations, including capital expenditures. Assess maintenance personnel for competency and implement corrective actions to address skill or knowledge gaps. Develop and mentor the engineering team to align with SolitAir’s mission and vision in a cost-effective and professional manner. This role supports continued airworthiness by analyzing technical data, coordinating maintenance activities, and liaising with OEMs and maintenance teams. Key Responsibilities Ensure optimal continuing airworthiness of aircraft systems, structures, and powerplants. Review monthly aircraft/system/powerplant data to generate reliability reports and identify trends. Recommend AMP changes (escalation/de-escalation) based on data analysis; collaborate with Planning and Technical Services teams on defect analysis. Review and manage AD/SB/MSB assessments and safety-critical items; ensure implementation in the MIS system. Prepare and present Engineering Orders and reviews using OEM data (OITs, SILs, SBs) and industry insights.
