Solidwork Designer

As a SolidWorks Designer/Engineer, you play a crucial role in creating, designing, and optimizing products, components, and systems using SolidWorks software. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and ensure the successful execution of projects. **Key Responsibilities**: - **Product Design**: - Create 2D and 3D models of products, parts, and assemblies using SolidWorks, considering design specifications, functionality, and manufacturability. - **Prototype Development**: - Collaborate with engineering teams to develop prototypes and test concepts, ensuring designs meet performance and safety requirements. - Preference given to candidates with a diploma in CTR or Sippet or Indo Swiss and experience in Die Mould or SPM Design. - **CAD Modeling**: - Produce accurate and detailed CAD drawings, including assembly drawings, BOMs, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly processes. - **Design Modification**: - Make design revisions and improvements based on stakeholder feedback and address any issues during development. - **Collaboration**: - Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate designs seamlessly into final products. - **Technical Support**: - Provide technical support to team members regarding SolidWorks software and design-related queries. - **Quality Control**: - Perform design checks and reviews to ensure accuracy, adherence to standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements. - **Material and Component Selection**: - Assist in selecting appropriate materials and components for designs, considering cost, availability, and performance. - **Documentation**: - Maintain comprehensive design documentation, including change records, version control, and project files. - **Continuous Learning**: - Stay updated with the latest SolidWorks features and industry trends to improve design efficiency. **Qualifications**: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, product design, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Proficiency in SolidWorks and other CAD software with at least 2 years of relevant experience. - Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. - Attention to detail and high accuracy in design work. - Problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively. - Excellent communication skills to convey design concepts effectively. - Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to product design.
