Job Description
We are hiring a Solar Engineer (Rooftop PV Systems) who will be responsible for design, installation, and commissioning of rooftop solar power projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience with solar equipment, site execution, and technical coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute rooftop solar PV system installations
Conduct site survey, shadow analysis & feasibility study
Prepare system design, SLD, layout drawings & BOM
Supervise installation, testing & commissioning
Coordinate with vendors, installers & electricians
Ensure compliance with safety standards & MNRE guidelines
Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues
Support documentation for net metering & approvals
Required Skills & Equipment Knowledge
Solar PV modules, inverters (string/central)
DCDB, ACDB, junction boxes, isolators
Cabling, earthing, lightning arrestor
Rooftop mounting structures (RCC / metal shed)
Electrical testing tools (multimeter, clamp meter)
Knowledge of AutoCAD / PVsyst (preferred)
Understanding of net metering process
Experience Required
2–3 years of experience in rooftop solar projects
Experience in residential, commercial or industrial rooftops
Preferred Qualities
Strong problem-solving skills
Willingness to visit sites
Good communication & teamwork
