Solar Jr. Engineer / Solar Technician (O&M)

Role Overview: You will be working as a Jr. Engineer / Solar Technician in the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) department. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting inspections, performing maintenance procedures, troubleshooting and repairing faults in solar equipment, responding to emergencies, documenting site conditions, collaborating with engineers and project managers, and ensuring health and safety protocols are followed. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues - Execute routine preventive maintenance procedures on solar equipment - Ensure that solar modules are clean and free from any bird droppings or shadows - Perform module water / chemical cleaning cycles as required - Identify and troubleshoot faults in solar panels, inverters, wiring, and related components - Respond promptly to system failures or emergencies to minimize downtime - Provide documentation and daily reports of site conditions and system performance - Collaborate with engineers and project managers to optimize system design and performance - Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all maintenance activities - Promote and maintain a culture of safety within the team and on-site Qualification Required: - B. Tech / Diploma in Engineering / ITI and relevant certification in solar technology, electrical systems, or a related field - Previous experience in solar O&M for 1-2 years is desirable - Knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, and associated electrical components - Strong troubleshooting and hands-on maintenance skills Additional Company Details: Solar Innovation is a unique platform dedicated to helping individuals in the field of solar energy.
