Solar Installation Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Solar Installation Assistant to join our growing solar energy team. This is a full-time position ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, outdoor environments, and learning a skilled trade in the renewable energy industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead installers with residential and commercial solar panel installations
• Carry, load, and organize tools, materials, and equipment
• Help mount racking systems and solar panels
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Support troubleshooting and basic maintenance tasks as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs
• Basic hand tool knowledge is a plus
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Previous solar or construction experience is an advantage, but training is provided
