Solar Electrical Draughtsman

Role & responsibilities

• Detailed drawings preparation for complete PV plant.
• Hands on experience on the drawing preparation with all details i.e., DC cable route layout, AC cable Route layout.
• Experience on Cable length calculation for DC , LT and HT cable.
• Must have clear understanding about all electrical equipments involved in PV plant.
• Must have knowledge on electrical library and legends.
• Experience on preparing DC and AC SLD for solar plant.
• Substation detailing, checking & finalizing in AUTOCAD / BOCAD (3D software).
• Drawing preparation, checking & finalizing drawings in Autocad (2D software) and BOCAD w.r.t. BOM & sketches.
• Maintain ISO records (drawing/client submission/LD/MD status)
• Co-ordinate with In-house drawing records, client submission/LD/MD stages.
• Read specification & evaluate drawing related to SLDs, PPL, electrical Layout Plans, Elevations, Clearance Diagrams, DSLP Layouts, RCC & structural room drawing, Steel Structure drawing etc
• Review client comments, revision, updating w.r.t. final stage preparation chart as per client requirement and checking summary accuracy in AUTOCAD / BOCAD software.
• Continuously improve on drafting skill & knowledge.
• Bill of Material checking.

  : Proficient in MS Office applications, AUTO CAD/ BOCAD. Solar/ Substation detailing & Drafting.

Education :

Diploma In Electrical/Mechanical/ITI.

Experience :

• 5-10 years of experience as Draughtsman in Solar and Renewable industry.

Knowledge of International Standard of Design will be an added advantage
