Solar Design Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for the preparation of detailed engineering documents, including layout, single-line diagrams, design documents for AC and DC sizing, SCADA architecture, detailed Bill of Materials (BoM), and plant performance verification after the installation of solar plants. Key Responsibilities: - Take single-point responsibility for project engineering during the detailed engineering phase for ground/roof-mounted solar systems - Perform detailed system design, optimize generation data, prepare layouts, Bill of Materials (BoM), and single-line diagrams (SLDs) for customer submission in coordination with the Project Manager - Estimate correct plant performance and determine optimum Bill of Materials - Prepare as-built drawings and provide plant performance data for project handover to Operations and Maintenance - Obtain necessary inputs from internal/external customers to design optimum solar systems and attend customer meetings as required - Ensure smooth transfer of information to Projects, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Quality Assurance (QA), Operations and Maintenance (O&M), and other stakeholders - Timely preparation and submission of documents for project execution Qualifications Required: - Diploma/BE in Electrical Engineering - 3 to 5 years of total work experience in Design and Engineering, with a minimum of 2 to 3 years in the solar industry Additional Details: Enerparc is a global expert specializing in developing, engineering, constructing, and operating large-scale photovoltaic (PV) systems.
