Software Tester (Fresher)

As a Software Tester (Fresher), you will be responsible for validating software functionality through structured testing processes. Your role will involve analyzing requirements, executing test cases, identifying bugs, and ensuring software quality before release. You will be focused on learning and applying testing methodologies, working closely with developers and QA teams to deliver reliable, user-friendly applications across various platforms and domains. You should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Familiarity with Manual Testing, Basic Automation Testing (Selenium, JUnit optional), and Bug Tracking Tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) will be beneficial for this role. Your responsibilities will include understanding software requirements and specifications to develop test cases, executing test cases (manual and automated) and documenting results, identifying, recording, and tracking bugs using issue tracking tools, collaborating with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes, assisting in regression, integration, and system testing, preparing test reports and communicating testing progress, continuously learning and adapting to new testing tools and techniques, and ensuring the product meets quality standards and customer requirements. To excel in this role, you should possess strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset, a basic understanding of SDLC and STLC, good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work independently and within a team, eagerness to learn testing methodologies and tools, and effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule and a performance bonus. The job location is in Rajkot, Gujarat, and the ability to commute or plan to relocate before starting work is required.
