As a Software Testing Engineer / QA Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. With 1-3 years of experience in software testing, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of our projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze requirements and prepare test cases, test scenarios, and test plans. - Execute test cases manually and document results. - Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla. - Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UI testing. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality. - Report test progress, defects, and status updates to the QA lead. - Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices. - Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and unexpected behaviors. - Verify fixes and conduct re-testing before releases. **Required Skills:** - Strong understanding of manual testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices. - Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. - Ability to create detailed test cases based on requirements. - Basic knowledge of SQL queries for database validation. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development life cycle. - Good communication skills to effectively communicate defects and test results. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. **Preferred Skills (Good to Have):** - Experience in mobile application testing. - Basic knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium. - Familiarity with performance and security testing concepts. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - ISTQB Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
