Software Test Engineer - Trainee

As a Trainee - QA Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through rigorous testing processes. Your key responsibilities will include: - Having a basic understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and defect reporting. - Demonstrating knowledge of writing test plans, test cases, test plan execution, and creation of test reports. - Being familiar with Windows and its environment settings. - Possessing knowledge of SQL and scripting will be an added advantage. - Utilizing strong problem-solving and logical skills to identify, analyze, and resolve issues encountered during testing. - Collaborating effectively in a team environment and coordinating with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders. - Being adaptable to changing project requirements and priorities. As a candidate for this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or IT. - Have 0-1 year of experience. - Be located in Chandigarh Tricity or nearby. - Possess Software Testing Certification or Training. - Have basic knowledge of quality tools used in the industry. - Demonstrate an analytical and quantitative approach to problem-solving.
