Software Senior Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at Dell Technologies in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in developing sophisticated systems and software solutions based on customer business goals and needs. Your contributions will directly impact the design and architecture of new software/storage environments, as well as the preparation of written specifications and documentation for products. Your responsibilities will include: - Contributing to the design and architecture of new or re-engineered software/storage environments - Preparing written software/storage specifications based on architectural diagrams - Building and reviewing design, functional, technical, and user documentation - Developing, reviewing, and implementing test strategies for software products and systems In terms of qualifications, we are looking for candidates with: - Validated knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, firmware, BIOS, device drivers, databases, system/network/application administration, embedded software/firmware, tools, and utilities - Ability to code/debug sophisticated programs based on design specifications - Capacity to gain proficiency in new tools, languages, and operating systems through training and on-the-job experience - 5-8 years of related experience Additionally, a Bachelor's degree would be a desirable requirement for this role.
