Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Understand software requirements, application flow, and basic business logic
Prepare simple and clear
test cases
based on requirements
Execute
manual testing
to verify application functionality and UI
Identify defects and report them with proper details (steps, screenshots, expected result)
Re-test issues after fixes are provided by developers
Perform basic
smoke, functional, and regression testing
Maintain test cases and testing-related documents
Communicate testing status and issues to the team
Learn and follow QA processes and best practices
Participate in Agile meetings as part of learning exposure

Skills Required

Mandatory

Basic knowledge of computers and software applications
Understanding of SDLC or software development concepts (academic knowledge is sufficient)
Good logical thinking and attention to detail
Willingness to learn and take guidance
good communication skills (verbal and written)

Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

Basic understanding of software testing concepts
Awareness of bug life cycle
Exposure to tools like JIRA, Postman, or similar (training/project level)
Basic knowledge of SQL or APIs
Any academic project related to web or software applications

Educational Qualification

B.E / B.Tech / BCA / MCA / B.Sc (IT/CS)
Final-year students or recent graduates can apply
