Software Quality Assurance Senior Specialist

NTT DATA is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Senior Specialist to join the team in Bangalore, Karnataka (IN-KA), India. As a Software Quality Assurance Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for various tasks related to test governance, planning, and execution. Your responsibilities will include test planning, estimation, and scheduling, as well as creating and conducting automated tests for different layers of the application. You will collaborate with development and business teams to ensure software quality, diagnose and fix errors in applications, and continuously improve and update existing tests. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating technical documentation related to tests. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Test Governance and Lead activities, experience in managing and planning testing life cycle and defect life cycle, and creating both manual and automated tests for validation. Knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium and Appium, ability to write tests in programming languages like Python and Java, understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience working with databases (e.g., SQL) are also required. Teamwork skills and effective communication with developers are essential, along with a higher technical education or related qualification and English language proficiency enabling the reading of technical documentation. The position offers 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, full-time employment, the possibility of remote or hybrid work, flexible working hours, and access to an e-learning platform.
