Software Quality Assurance Engineer II (API)

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You will prepare test data and test environments
• You will conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues
• You will create and execute test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test case reviews
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
• You will execute regression tests to identify and address potential regression issues after code changes
• You will perform performance testing to ensure software stability and responsiveness
• You will continuously monitor and improve the QA process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• You will troubleshoot and analyze issues found during testing, and collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• You have B.Tech/B.E/ Master s Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline
• You have 4 6 years of work experience in QA with hands-on experience in manual testing, test case design techniques, SDLC models
• You must have experience with API testing tools like Postman, JMeter, etc.
• You have experience with tools such as Charles Proxy, Proxyman for API responses.
• You have expertise in software testing principles and Agile methodologies, knowledge of basic SQL queries
• You have good understanding of JIRA and Confluence for documentation and test management
• You must have strong communication skills
