Software QA Engineer

As a Software QA Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in the Software QA Engineering department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software products through comprehensive testing and analysis. Your primary responsibility will involve collaborating closely with the development team to detect bugs and software issues, as well as suggesting enhancements for better performance. Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications. You will conduct both manual and automated testing to identify and rectify bugs efficiently. Your expertise in manual testing techniques and executing test cases will be essential for this role. Proficiency in automation testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or similar tools will be highly beneficial. Additionally, experience with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or similar tools will be advantageous. A solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies is crucial for success in this role. Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, etc., and familiarity with version control systems like Git are essential. Furthermore, experience in API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured will be valuable. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Your 2-4 years of experience in Software QA Engineering, combined with a strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools, will be beneficial.
