As a Software Mobile Test Automation Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of test automation engineers, designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks, and contributing to testing strategies using QA best practices. Your primary focus will be on working with medical software products to ensure high-quality delivery through effective testing and defect management. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of test automation engineers, providing technical guidance and support. - Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks for mobile applications on Android and iOS. - Conduct code reviews and offer feedback on automation scripts. - Monitor and report on automation efforts, continuously improving testing processes. - Collaborate with manual QA engineers to define test strategies and reduce manual test coverage. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation frameworks and test execution environments. Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of experience in mobile automation testing. - Ideally, knowledge in medical product testing. - Experience in mobile app testing for Android and iOS. - Excellent knowledge of Agile Methodology. - Soft skills: zeal to explore knowledge, self-driven, and committed to quality. In addition, you will need experience with test management and defect management tools such as DevOps, ALM, and TFS. You should be able to create detailed test reports supported by evidence, maintain existing automation test frameworks, and have experience with API testing. Hands-on experience with Web/Mobile tools and CI/CD is also required. Furthermore, you should have sound knowledge of debugging and debug tools like ADB, the ability to log defects in test management tools, and investigate/troubleshoot system failures. Effective communication with key stakeholders on test plans and working with developers to design testing strategies are key aspects of this role. Adhering to test schedules and owning the responsibility for product quality are also essential parts of your responsibilities.
