As a Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer in xEngage at ValueMomentum, you will be utilizing your expertise in Guidewire, Digital, Enterprise Engage, Producer Engage, and Consumer Engage, along with ReactJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript to design, develop, and maintain various business applications. With 3-8 years of experience, you will be a key member of the Core Engineering team, contributing to the transformation of the P&C insurance value chain with innovative solutions. At ValueMomentum's Engineering Center, you will work alongside a team of enthusiastic engineers dedicated to tackling complex business challenges through strong engineering foundations. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining web applications and micro frontends using the Guidewire xEngage platform, creating consistent user interfaces using the xEngage design system, and streamlining the development process with deployment tools and workflows. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and management will be essential as you write, modify, and debug software for client applications. To succeed in this role, you must have 2-4 years of experience in web applications and micro frontends using Guidewire xEngage, proficiency in Web Technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/ES6, TypeScript, and JSON, familiarity with ReactJS using React hooks and NodeJS, and experience in the Insurance domain with respect to commercial and personal lines of business. Strong analytical and communication skills are crucial, along with a deep understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies. Candidates with additional skills such as Guidewire Certification, awareness of Cloud Implementation, and experience working in Agile environments will have an added advantage.
