Software Engineering Team Lead - Full Stack

As a Software Engineering Team Lead (Full Stack) at Dataction, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to design, maintain, and evolve high-performing digital applications. Your role will involve leveraging your expertise in full-stack TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS event-driven architecture while managing legacy components in PHP/Laravel. You will play a crucial part in resolving customer-facing issues, enhancing architectural design, and ensuring incident resolution. **Responsibilities:** - Lead application stability and enhancement efforts across various platforms. - Guide engineers in implementing fixes and improvements that add measurable business value. - Support and enhance legacy systems while transitioning to a full-stack TypeScript architecture. - Maintain high standards of code quality, security, and observability. - Collaborate with frontend/backend teams to ensure robust APIs and interfaces. - Drive resolution of high-priority incidents and conduct root cause analysis. - Conduct design and code reviews, pair programming sessions, and knowledge sharing. - Own CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and system documentation. - Collaborate with project managers to align technical execution with roadmap goals. - Implement tooling for enhanced system visibility and operational performance. - Foster a team culture focused on accountability, learning, and continuous improvement. **Key Requirements:** - 10+ years of engineering experience in backend and frontend development. - Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and modern frontend frameworks. - Experience with AWS services, REST APIs, and event-driven architecture. - Familiarity with legacy PHP/Laravel systems and incident resolution processes. - Track record of leading engineering teams, mentorship, and code reviews. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and coordinate across geographies. - Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - Proactive mindset with a passion for delivering value through engineering.
