Software Engineering Specialist(Senior AI Developer)

Role Overview: As a Research and Development Specialist at Amdocs, you will be responsible for enhancing the existing product portfolio through the development of Proof of Concepts (POCs) using AI technology. Specifically, your focus will be on automated code migration, such as COBOL to Java. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement generative AI models and algorithms. - Investigate and resolve issues by reviewing and debugging code, providing fixes, and analyzing bugs. - Bring continuous improvements to software and business processes by utilizing innovative techniques and automation. - Represent and lead discussions related to products, applications, modules, and teams. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computing or equivalent with 6-9 years of experience as a software engineer. - Proficiency in at least one programming language with a solid understanding of programming concepts. - Professional proficiency in Python with experience in Python scripts and libraries. - Proven experience with GenAI products and LLMs capabilities. - Extensive professional experience in software development and Java programming skills. - Nice to have: Experience with legacy modernization or migration projects, C# programming skills, and VS Code Extension development skills.
