Software Engineering Specialist(Senior AI Developer)

As a Research and Development Engineer at Amdocs, you will be responsible for enhancing the existing product portfolio through the development of Proof of Concepts (POCs) using Artificial Intelligence. Your primary focus will be on automated code migration, such as from COBOL to Java. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement generative AI models and algorithms. - Investigate issues by reviewing and debugging code, providing fixes, and analyzing workarounds. - Bring continuous improvements and efficiencies to software and business processes through innovative techniques. - Represent and lead discussions related to products, applications, modules, and teams. - Establish relationships with internal customers and partners. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computing or equivalent with 6-9 years of experience as a software engineer. - Awareness of programming concepts and ability to write software code in at least one programming language. - Full understanding of modern AI concepts and proficiency in Python. - Professional experience with GenAI products and LLMs capabilities. - Extensive experience in software development and Java programming. - Nice to have: Experience with legacy modernization projects, C# programming skills, and VS Code Extension development skills.
