Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst with expertise in SAS and Python to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise to analyze data, develop models, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis & Modeling: Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis using SAS and Python. Develop statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems. Ensure data integrity, quality, and accuracy during analysis. Business Insights: Generate actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Reporting & Visualization: Automate recurring tasks and reporting processes for efficiency. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, product, and operations, to deliver analytical projects. Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on best practices in SAS and Python. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize processes and enhance data-driven decision-making. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in analytics. Must-Have Skills: Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in SAS (Base, Advanced, Macros, SAS Viya, 9.4 version) Advanced Python programming skills, including experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and Matplotlib. Hands-on experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation. Analytical Thinking: Proven ability to develop statistical models (e.g., regression, clustering, classification). Experience with machine learning frameworks is a plus. Additional Skills: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus. Familiarity with big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar. Strong understanding of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar). Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong project management and organizational skills.
