The Role
We are seeking a talented and passionate Mid-Level Software Developer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining the core software frameworks and libraries that our product teams rely on. You will contribute to the architectural vision, ensure code quality, and provide technical guidance, helping to shape the future of our software ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance software frameworks, libraries, and APIs.Collaborate with product development teams to understand their needs and integrate framework solutions effectively.Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.Troubleshoot and debug issues within existing frameworks and provide timely resolutions.Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, focusing on reusability, maintainability, and extensibility.Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for frameworks and APIs.Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in framework development.Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.Understanding of DevOps concepts and CICD pipelinesExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Qualifications
- 3 to 6 years of professional experience in software development, with a significant focus on framework, library, or platform development.
- Strong proficiency in python and at least one object-oriented programming language.
- Demonstrable experience with common software design patterns and architectural principles.
- Experience with API design and development.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies and experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.
Bonus Points (Nice To Have)
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Knowledge of performance optimization and security best practices.Experience with specific Siemens technologies or platforms
