Software Engineer

Role Overview: As a Software Engineer at Bain & Company, you will have a proven track record of delivering application modules with minimal supervision, while also providing guidance to associate/entry-level Engineers. You will work collaboratively in an Agile/scrum software development team to design, build, and implement new features and functionality in Bains strategic internal software systems. Your role will be crucial in delivering value to Bains global users and supporting key business initiatives through enterprise-scale browser-based or mobile applications developed with Microsoft technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Work with teams to develop and update enterprise applications, demonstrating high-level business and domain knowledge. - Participate in all Agile team events and activities, identifying technical steps required to complete stories. - Collaborate with team members to analyze user stories, perform task breakdown, and complete committed tasks as per sprint schedule. - Follow standard application design and architecture, ensuring non-functional metrics such as scalability and performance are met. - Write unit test plans, execute tests, and provide ongoing support for applications in use. - Acquire new skills through internal/external trainings to be a T-Shaped team member, contributing to sprint goals. - Contribute to researching and evaluating new technologies for software applications, sharing concepts with the full Software Development team. - Present technical findings and enhance team experience through effective communication. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree with 3-5 years of experience in developing enterprise-scale applications. - Proficiency in .NET & .NET Core frameworks, C#, T-SQL, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Azure Services, XUnit, Jasmine, GitActions, React, Elasticsearch, Coveo, MongoDB, Cosmos, Redis, MemCache. - Strong knowledge of agile software development methodologies and processes. - Demonstrated record of strong performance and T-Shaped behavior to expedite delivery. - Excellent communication, customer service, analytic, and problem-solving skills.,
