Software Engineer, Staff

As a Staff Software Engineer at Blackbaud, you will play a crucial role in all phases of the development lifecycle. You will work on designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable code. Your proactive suggestions for improvements to applications and processes will enhance the client experience and improve performance. You will participate in Agile development processes and ceremonies, collaborate with other engineers on technical design solutions, and ensure compliance with web standards and accessibility requirements. Additionally, you will keep up to date on the latest technical developments in your area, implement design concepts from the UI/UX team, and maintain robust high-quality code standards throughout the development process. Your responsibilities will also include working closely with product management, scrum master, and other team members to coordinate implementation and provide progress updates at daily standup meetings. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code - Proactively suggest improvements to applications and processes - Participate in Agile development process and ceremonies - Collaborate with other engineers on the technical design of solutions - Keep up to date on the latest technical developments - Ensure compliance with web standards and accessibility requirements - Work closely with product management, scrum master, and other team members - Participate in all Scrum team ceremonies Qualification Required: - 3 to 5 years of experience in designing and developing applications on the Microsoft stack - Experience with common web technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and HTML - Proficiency in C# and .NET Core - Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, RESTful services, and APIs - Understanding of software engineering best practices and object-oriented development - Experience with Git and continuous integration systems - Familiarity with building software applications in the cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) is a plus In India Location, Blackbaud's global impact is driven by the incredible talent pool in Hyderabad.
