Software Engineer

Position Title: Sr. Software Engineer (.NET)
Experience Required: 5+ yearsEducation: Bachelors in Engineering / Master of Computer Applications / Master of ComputerScience (or related certifications). Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in WebDevelopment is desirable.OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer (.NET) with strong expertise in C#,.NET Core, ASP.NET Core WebAPI, Angular 2+, and relational databases. The idealcandidate will have a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC),hands-on coding experience, and a proven track record of building scalable, secure, andmaintainable applications.This role requires a technically strong individual who can also collaborate with global teams,mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural discussions.

Work Mode The role will be remote for the initial 612 months. After this period, the company may require the candidate to work in a hybrid modelfrom Chandigarh, with 2 days per week onsite.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure applications using the .NETtechnology stack. Develop and consume RESTful Web APIs using ASP.NET Core. Write clean, well-structured, testable, and maintainable code following best practices andcoding standards. Collaborate with business teams and global IT teams to gather and analyzerequirements, and translate them into technical specifications. Participate in or lead architectural solution discussions and provide technical designrecommendations. Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and support bestpractices. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues. Contribute to improving development processes, methodologies, and team performance. Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, reviews, andretrospectives.

Required Technical Skills Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET frameworks. Strong experience in ASP.NET Core WebAPI development. Hands-on expertise in SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning). Strong knowledge of Angular 2+ for building dynamic front-end applications. Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design and design patterns. Familiarity with microservices-based architecture. Knowledge of web application security practices, including authentication,authorization, and secure coding. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.Bonus Skills (Good to Have)

Experience with: VB.NET, ASP.NET, DNN (DotNetNuke), SSRS, SharePoint, Crystal Reports Oracle, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery Azure or AWS cloud services (App Services, Functions, Azure Service Bus,Cosmos DB, etc.) Experience with NoSQL databases. Knowledge of data transfer protocols and methodologies. Exposure to Windows desktop applications, Windows services, and MicrosoftOffice VSTO Add-Ins.
