Software Engineer-Redhat Fuse

As a talented Software Engineer with hands-on experience in Quarkus and Red Hat Fuse, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions. Your strong proficiency in Java, along with experience in Kafka-based event streaming, RESTful APIs, relational databases, and CI/CD pipelines deployed on OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) will be essential for this role. You are passionate about building robust microservices and integration systems in a cloud-native environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Designing and developing scalable microservices using the Quarkus framework. - Building and maintaining integration flows and APIs leveraging Red Hat Fuse (Apache Camel) for enterprise integration patterns. - Developing and consuming RESTful web services and APIs. - Designing, implementing, and optimizing Kafka producers and consumers for real-time data streaming and event-driven architecture. - Writing efficient, well-documented, and testable Java code adhering to best practices. **Qualification Required:** - Strong experience with Java (Java 8 or above) and the Quarkus framework. - Expertise in Red Hat Fuse (or Apache Camel) for integration development. - Proficiency in designing and consuming REST APIs. - Experience with Kafka for event-driven and streaming solutions. - Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL. - Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. In addition to the above, you will collaborate with DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows. You will deploy and manage applications on OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) following containerization best practices (Docker). Participating in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies is expected from you. Troubleshooting and resolving production issues with a focus on stability and performance is also an important aspect of your role. You are expected to keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the existing systems. Hands-on experience deploying applications to OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), working knowledge of containerization tools like Docker, familiarity with microservices architecture, cloud-native development, and agile methodologies are also expected from you. Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, good communication, and documentation skills are essential for success in this role. Preferred qualifications include experience with messaging systems like Kafka, knowledge of other Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, understanding of security best practices in microservices and API development, and cloud platform experience. You should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or possess equivalent practical experience for this position.,
