Job_Description":" Job Title : Software Engineer (Python) Experience : 2-6 Years Domain : Storage/Backup/Security We are looking for a senior developer in the role of Software Engineer(Python) who will be responsible for building features within our product. The primary responsibility will be to contribute and design and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the product. The role will require you to understand Index Engines product line and utilize various storage technologies especially related to backups, virtualization, network attached storage, management and protection solutions within the product. You must be able to design and implement new features for customers with large-scale, mission critical applications in a multi-PB storage environment. Requirements 2-6 years of industry experience in software development, with a strong background in Python. Experienced in storage technologies such as backups, virtualization, network-attached storage, and data protection solutions. Strong proficiency in Python, with a solid understanding of its libraries and frameworks. Thorough knowledge of the Python Standard Library, data structures, and algorithms. Experience with memory management in Python and understanding of its garbage collection mechanism. Experience with concurrent programming in Python using threading, asyncio, or multiprocessing Familiarity with Linux systems, and Linux system programming skills, particularly in the storage domain (e.g., filesystems, filers, backup systems). Familiarity with tools like PostgreSQL, SQL, or other relational databases. Excellent knowledge of programming languages Python, C designing systems using REST API interfaces. Thorough knowledge of web architectures and common programming design patterns and best practices. Thorough knowledge of RESTful APIs design, modern authorization mechanisms, such as JWT, etc. Familiarity with implementing unit tests and automated testing platforms. Prior experience working with large codebases and architecting complex software solutions. Prior experience in storage domain is desired with excellent understanding of backup technologies, Storage, FileSystems, NFS, CIFS/SMB etc. Strong written and verbal communication skills Good organizational and leadership skills.
