Software Engineer - Python Developer

Role Overview: As part of Analytical Wizards, a subsidiary of the Definitive Healthcare family, you will be immersed in an innovative yet welcoming environment, supported by a reputable parent company. Your role will involve leveraging cutting-edge tools and technologies to address server-side development challenges and craft sophisticated applications focused on marketing analytics and real-world evidence analytics. Working closely with a diverse team including UI designers, data scientists, UI developers, and client-facing members, you will contribute to various product modules based on project needs. Key Responsibilities: - Develop server-side solutions for advanced products within the realms of marketing analytics and real-world evidence analytics. - Collaborate with data scientists and front-end developers to solidify requirements and subsequently implement backend functionalities. - Support the software architect in daily interactions with the onsite team and clients" business units. - Ensure seamless communication with front-end developers and data scientists to guarantee alignment across the analytics layer, middle layer, and front-end layer. Qualifications: - Possess 2-4 years of experience in Python and server-side development utilizing Python frameworks. - Demonstrated expertise in creating REST APIs. - Strong familiarity and application of object-oriented concepts. - Proficient in relational databases, specifically MySQL. - Knowledge of ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries is preferred. - Familiarity with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and SQL Alchemy is advantageous. - Proficiency in Linux operating systems. - Solid understanding of code versioning tools like Git. - Exceptional debugging and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication skills essential for collaboration within a globally dispersed team.,
