Software Engineer - Principal

As a software engineer in the QuestaSim R&D team of Siemens EDA, you will be involved in core algorithmic advances and software design/architecture. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with a senior group of software engineers to ensure the final production level quality of new components and algorithms. You will also work on building new engines and supporting existing code. Your self-motivation, self-discipline, and ability to set personal goals in a dynamic environment will contribute to your success. Key Responsibilities: - Develop core algorithmic advances and software design/architecture in the QuestaSim R&D team - Collaborate with senior software engineers to ensure production level quality of new components and algorithms - Build new engines and support existing code Qualifications Required: - B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electrical Engineering (EE), or Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) with 12+ years of experience - Strong knowledge of C/C++, algorithms, and data structures - Familiarity with compiler concepts and optimizations - Experience with UNIX and/or LINUX platforms - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and guide others Additional Details: Siemens EDA is a global technology leader in Electronic Design Automation software.
