Position Overview
We are seeking an expert Senior Data & AI Architect to design and implement SaaS capabilities (independent and modular services) for addressing needs from various products which can be desktop application or single tenant application or multi-tenant application. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience architecting scalable, resilient & secured Data & AI solutions and working with cloud-native technologies in high-volume environments.
Design and architect integration patterns for multi-tenant data and AI platform with IAM and API Gateway solutions
Build scalable, resilient data architectures leveraging AWS cloud services (AWS cloud ismandatory; other hyperscalar like Azure, Google will be an added advantage)
Develop technical architecture specifications for Python & Java based microservices
Ability to break a complex architecture in smaller chunks which can be delivered iteratively keeping the focus on long term vision
Design data lake, data warehouse and lakehouse solutions with optimized query capabilities
Establish ETL/ELT pipelines for efficient data processing
Build and implement metadata management strategies
Develop reference architectures and design patterns for complex systems (e.g. timeseries
data processing)
Build rapid proof-of-concept solutions to validate architectural decisions
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
Guide and mentor development teams on architectural standard methodologies and technology adoption
Conduct architectural reviews, technical design discussions, and code/design reviews
Required Skills & Experience :
15-25 years of technology experience with at least 8+ years in architect roles
Proven experience designing high-scale, resilient and secured data platforms & big data technologies handling massive volumes of data and API calls
Deep expertise with AWS cloud services, particularly in data processing (S3, Athena, Glue, EMR) and AI services (sagemaker, bedrock etc.)
Lead the design, development, and governance of our technology architecture
Strong background in Java microservice architecture patterns and standard processes
Experience integrating with enterprise IAM solutions and API gateways
Hands-on knowledge of data lake, data warehouse or lakehouse design, implementation andoptimization
Experience with ETL/ELT tools and methodologies
Proficiency in crafting metadata management systems
Strong background in building complex systems (e.g. timeseries data processing and storage)
Ability to rapidly prototype solutions and validate architectural concepts
Python & Java programming experience; Go lang will be an added advantage
AWS certification (Associate/Professional Architect)
Knowledge of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic AI systems
Experience with GenAI technologies and integration patterns
Familiarity with ML Ops practices
Experience with real-time data processing frameworks
Cloud architecture certifications (AWS Solutions Architect or similar)
Familiarity with security best practices, such as zero-trust architecture and secure API design,TOGAF etc.
Education: Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, BigData, AI/ML,DataEngineering or a related field.
