Software Engineer (NodeJS with Angular)

As a software engineer at Wolters Kluwer - DXG, reporting to the Development Manager, you will primarily focus on working with the Lippincott Clinical Context platform, a key component of the Health Solutions offering. This platform is designed to deliver enterprise-scale applications that offer an interactive experience for health professionals and students. Key Responsibilities: - Interpret and understand contextual requirements to develop innovative solutions - Design and debug complex software solutions using Angular, Typescript, HTML, CSS, and NodeJS - Translate requirements into solution design and analyze, plan, and estimate development tasks - Collaborate with the team through coding, unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews - Work closely with QA partners, BAs, and provide support during UAT and production debugging - Plan, prioritize, and complete tasks effectively to meet project deadlines Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field - 3+ years of relevant development experience with web-based applications using Angular, HTML, CSS - Hands-on experience with Typescript and working knowledge of NodeJS - Familiarity with JSON, XML, Schema, and database models - Demonstrated use of Architecture design patterns in the last 2 projects - Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and cloud-native application development (AWS) - Ability to build and consume third-party APIs and familiarity with tools like Postman - Proficiency in documenting technical specifications and organizing code - Interpret and identify patterns from APM tools and reporting dashboards - Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, DevOps, and SDLC stages - Understanding of integration between systems, search technologies, and caching strategies - Proficient with Git Source control, Gitflow branching methodology, Agile development practices, and associated tools - Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills (Note: Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a Wolters Kluwer office as part of the recruitment process.),
