Software Engineer-Java

As a Software Engineer at Clarivate, you will have the opportunity to work with Java 8+ and Java-based frameworks like Spring and Hibernate in a cross-cultural work environment focusing on the latest web technologies with user-centric design. **Key Responsibilities:** - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards. - Develop and maintain unit and unit integration tests for an automated Continuous Integration pipeline. - Collaborate with other teams (e.g., QA, Product) to release high-quality software. - Troubleshoot and debug issues during development, testing, and production. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field. - 1-3 years of experience in developing web-based applications using Java, Spring, Hibernate, SQL Server, and related technologies. - Experience in writing Unit test cases. - Good understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming and SOLID principles. - Working knowledge of VCNs such as GIT, Bitbucket. - Focused, enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to learn and experiment.
