Software Engineer - Java

Role & responsibilities

• High skills in Java 8, micro services, REST APIs, event-based architectures, distributed architectures, algorithm complexity, message bus (Kafka, AMQP), mongodb, redis, test automation frameworks, monitoring tools, AWS, oauth2, deployment strategies.
• Knowledge on MongoDB and MySQL is good to have and should be aware of differences of DBs.
• Should be aware of which DB to be used based on the situations.
• Any messaging queue will be fine either Kafka, Rabbit MQ, AMQP, etc
• Should be good into problem solving approaches and coding.
• High skills in best practices (like DRY, KISS, YAGNI, etc.) in coding and in reaching high coverage on unit tests, integration test and component test for the code produced
• Fluent in English - both written and spoken.
• Good Team Player and Mentor.
• Junior SW Engineer 3 to 6 years
• Senior SW Engineer 6 to 9 years

Work Location: Bangalore (Electronic City phase 2)
