Software Engineer Intern

As a Software Engineer Intern at TechKareer, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies like React and PHP. Located in Bengaluru, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the development of our job-matching platform and internal tools. Your responsibilities will include shipping front-end features using React and TypeScript, as well as managing REST/GraphQL endpoints in PHP, specifically in Laravel. Collaboration with design and product teams to translate Figma designs into seamless user experiences will be a key aspect of your role. Furthermore, you will be tasked with enhancing performance, accessibility, and test coverage throughout the tech stack, with the possibility of venturing into mobile development with React Native or Flutter. To excel in this role, you must possess a strong foundation in React and TypeScript, along with a working knowledge of PHP, particularly in Laravel or Symfony. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript tooling is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively and concisely with team members. Desirable skills include experience with React Native or Flutter, a track record of contributions to open-source projects or personal initiatives, familiarity with CI/CD practices and Docker, and a basic understanding of SQL and REST conventions.
