Software Engineer in Test/ SDET Engineer

As an SDET Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience in the financial domain, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Utilize your 6+ years of experience in functional testing and automation creation for financial applications. - Demonstrate senior-level expertise in automation testing, quality practices, and protocols to deliver validations within established timelines. - Conduct testing across various platforms including web interfaces, APIs (REST), and Batch Jobs. - Leverage your software development skills to build and utilize automation frameworks using technologies like Java, JUnit, Selenium, Playwright, JBehave, JMeter, and more. - Handle both Unit and Integration testing requirements including exposure to data virtualization tools. - Take ownership of the Automation framework and lead related initiatives. - Develop high-quality test strategies with a specific focus on coverage. - Create acceptance and integration test automation scripts and integrate them with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins/Bamboo and code coverage tools such as Sonar and Clover. - Experience with Continuous Integration and delivery concepts is desirable. - Utilize your strong communication skills to interact with technical teams, management, and business stakeholders effectively. - Be flexible, accountable, reliable, and industrious in your approach. - Act as a change agent by introducing innovative and efficient Quality Assurance practices in an Agile environment. - Manage multiple priority efforts simultaneously while ensuring adherence to Quality Assurance standards. - Work effectively in an Agile environment with experience in multiple cycle testing and regression.
