Job Description

As a Software Engineer in Test-III (SDET) at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer commitments are met by collaborating with engineering teams. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and documenting code automation, as well as working closely with cross-functional teams to meet quality specifications. You will be expected to exercise judgment in problem analysis and build productive relationships with internal and external contacts. **Key Responsibilities:** - Validate multiple software products through systematic tests to maintain quality standards - Develop and execute test plans based on design specifications - Identify and record defects in software products for quality improvement - Collaborate with development teams to enhance product quality and development methodologies - Design and execute exploratory testing based on product knowledge - Automate existing tests and create new automated test suites - Update and create test cases to address customer reported issues - Participate in feature and test design meetings with the development team - Mentor junior SDET's and recommend continuous improvement processes **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of experience in software quality - Proficiency in Object-Oriented programming practices and Design Patterns - Advanced understanding of QA methodologies - 2-3 years of experience in manual and automated software testing - Competence in automation using scripting or other languages - Familiarity with problem tracking systems and test case management systems The company, Rocket, is dedicated to providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
