Job Description

As a Software Engineer in Test-III (SDET) at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer commitments are met by working collaboratively with engineering counterparts. Your responsibilities will include validating multiple software products using systematic tests, developing, modifying, and executing test plans, observing and recording defects, and improving product quality through exploratory testing. You will work closely with development teams to enhance product quality and development methodologies while also automating and improving existing tests. Key Responsibilities: - Validate multiple software products to maintain quality standards - Develop and execute test plans based on design specifications - Collaborate with development teams to enhance product quality - Design and execute exploratory testing - Automate and improve existing tests - Create complete test plans and update test cases - Mentor junior SDET's and recommend continual improvement processes Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in software quality - Proficiency in Object-Oriented programming practices and Design Patterns - Advanced understanding of QA methodologies - 2-3 years of experience in manual and automated software testing - Competence in automation using scripting or other languages - Familiarity with problem tracking systems and test case management systems Company Additional Details: Rocket is dedicated to providing reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities.
