Software Engineer III - Quality

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking, you will be a seasoned member of an agile team responsible for designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your role involves executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think innovatively. You will create secure and high-quality production code while maintaining algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems. Additionally, you will produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met by software code development. Your responsibilities also include gathering, analyzing, synthesizing, and developing visualizations and reporting from diverse data sets to improve software applications and systems. You will proactively identify hidden problems, patterns in data, and leverage insights to enhance coding hygiene and system architecture. Furthermore, you are expected to contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new technologies, while fostering a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect. **Key Responsibilities:** - Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with innovative approaches - Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously - Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met - Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from diverse data sets - Proactively identify hidden problems, patterns in data, and drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture - Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new technologies **Qualification Required:** - Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 3+ years applied experience - Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability - Proficiency in coding in one or more languages - Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment - Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle - Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security - Experience in Appium, Espresso, XCUITest - Expertise in Testing UI for complex high volume mobile applications - Knowledge on Mobile cloud (SEETEST, Perfecto) - Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins - Experience working in Core Java is good to have,
