Software Engineer III - Fullstack

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking - Data Management team, you will be a seasoned member of an agile team responsible for designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your role involves executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think innovatively to build solutions and address technical challenges. You will also be accountable for creating secure and high-quality production code, maintaining algorithms, and producing architecture and design artifacts for complex applications. Key Responsibilities: - Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with innovative problem-solving approaches - Create secure and high-quality production code, maintain algorithms, and produce architecture and design artifacts - Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large data sets - Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture - Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new technologies - Foster a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect Qualifications Required: - Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with a minimum of 3 years of applied experience - Proficiency in AWS development EAC, terraform, cloud design patterns, distributed Streaming (Kafka), OpenSearch, S3, and PostgreSQL - Experience deploying complex, high-available scalable systems and resilient apps on AWS cloud and VSI - Ability to serve as a tech lead for delivering high-quality, full-stack UI solutions using React JS, Jest, Java, and cloud-based technologies - Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability - Proficiency in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages - Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security In addition to the above requirements, familiarity with the financial services industry, IT systems, UI development using React, Node JS, Jest framework, modern front-end technologies, and exposure to AWS cloud technologies is preferred.,
