Job Description

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking Team, you play a crucial role in designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your responsibilities include executing creative software solutions, developing secure and high-quality production code, producing architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, gathering and analyzing data sets, building Microservices, collaborating with teams globally, and actively participating in team ceremonies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think innovatively. - Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms running synchronously with systems. - Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met. - Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from diverse data sets to enhance software applications and systems. - Build Microservices for internal and public cloud platforms, collaborating with global teams. - Participate in scrum team stand-ups, code reviews, and other ceremonies to contribute to task completion and blocker resolution. **Qualifications Required:** - Formal training or certification in software engineering with at least 3 years of experience in Java, AWS, and Terraform. - Proficiency in technologies like Java 11/17, Spring/Spring Boot, Kafka, and relational/non-relational databases. - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS for building secure Microservices. - Expertise in AWS services such as EKS, Fargate, SQS/SNS/Eventbridge, Lambda, S3, EBS, and Dynamo/Postgres DB. - Hands-on experience with Terraform scripts and DevOps concepts for automated build and deployment. - Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle. - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience. The company prefers candidates with AWS Developer/Solution Architect Certification, knowledge of Design Patterns for Microservices and Database designs, and familiarity with tools like JMeter, Dynatrace, Splunk, Wiremock, Jenkins, and Spinnaker.,
