Software Engineer III-Automation Testing

As a software engineer in this role, you will be responsible for executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems. Your main focus will be on creating secure and high-quality production code and maintaining algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems. Additionally, you will be expected to produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development. In this position, you will also be responsible for gathering, analyzing, synthesizing, and developing visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems. You will need to proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture. Furthermore, you will be expected to contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies, as well as add to the team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect. To be successful in this role, you should have formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience. You should have hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. Additionally, you should have hands-on experience in software testing, QA automation, designing and developing business-driven development automated frameworks using tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, Playwright, RestAssured, and Appium. You should also be proficient in coding in one or more languages. Preferred qualifications for this position include proficiency in either Java or Python, confidence in building test infrastructures using containerization technologies such as Docker and K8S, and working within a continuous delivery release cadence. Knowledge in accessibility testing, security testing, and resiliency testing would also be advantageous.,
