What youll be doing... The work you'll be doing will support mission and business-critical applications within Verizon. You will be enhancing the customer experience and building world class solutions. Under the mentorship of senior applications staff, you will work as a team member on various projects to develop, implement and maintain this important application. Developing highly efficient and reliable applications with front end and backend technologies keeping security in mind. Executing full software development life cycle (SDLC) concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support. Ensuring application development sprint cycle is on track and adjusting the plan to meet release timelines. Acting independently, at the same time displaying excellent collaboration within and between various teams. Understanding the domain knowledge and adapting to an agile environment. Building reusable code and libraries for future use in front end and back end technologies. Where you'll be working... One or more years of relevant work experience in full stack technologies. Experience with user-friendly front-end applications using React's component-based architecture, state management solutions (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Context API), routing, and testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library). Experience in designing and implementing micro frontend architectures using various strategies (e.g., Module Federation, single-spa, iframes). Proficient in breaking down monolithic front-ends into independently deployable and maintainable units, fostering team autonomy and scalability for complex web applications. Experience in building high-performance and scalable back-end applications using Spring Reactive (Project Reactor). Expertise in handling asynchronous, non-blocking operations, building reactive APIs, and leveraging reactive data access for efficient data handling in concurrent environments. Familiarity with fundamental AI/ML concepts and practical experience in integrating AI capabilities into full-stack applications. This includes working with pre-trained models, understanding data pipelines for AI/ML, and developing user interfaces for AI-powered features. A foundational understanding of machine learning algorithms and their potential applications in web development contexts. Knowledge of SDLC and Agile Development. Even better if you have one or more of the following: Experience with a high-performance, high-availability environment. Strong analytical, debugging skills. Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to understand app server implications during the delivery stage.
