Software Engineer II

You will have the opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and relevant issues in financial services and technology at FIS. As part of an agile team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of high-quality software, including analysis, design, coding, error handling, automation, testing, building, releasing, monitoring, and supporting components and sub-systems. Collaborating in an agile manner, you will identify and refine work items and encourage a team approach. Migrating applications from older .NET frameworks to .NET Core is an added advantage. Participating in a team-oriented environment to develop complex applications and conducting code reviews with peers are essential responsibilities. Qualifications: - 5 to 8+ years of experience in application software product development - Hands-on full stack development experience in ASP.Net MVC, C#, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, and SQL Server - Experience with ASP.NET Core MVC and WebApi is a plus - Proficiency in writing unit tests and familiarity with frameworks such as NUnit and Spec Flow - Knowledge of best practice coding and standards - Experience with CI/CD pipeline, Azure cloud-based architecture, and API management is advantageous - Excellent written and verbal communication skills FIS offers a multifaceted job with a high degree of responsibility, a wide range of professional education and personal development opportunities, a competitive salary and benefits package, and various career development tools and resources.,
